Huawei Brings HONOR 9A to India, Launch on July 31, Specs, Price

Huawei has finally decided to bring the Honor 9A to India. The Honor 9A is a budget smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Huawei had already released the Honor 9A in other markets last month but not in the Indian market when it was originally launched. The smartphone will be sold via Amazon from July 31st. The main selling point of the Hono 9A as mentioned on the website is the massive 5,000 mAh battery capacity. This is a dual-sim 4G smartphone by Huawei.

Specifications of Huawei Honor 9A:

The Honor 9A is powered by the Mediatek Helio P22 processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The screen is a 6.3 inch in size with Honor full view display and 20:9 display ratio. There is a hybrid sim slot with support for two sim cards and one MicroSD card for storage expansion. The Honor 9A supports MicroSD cards of up to 512GB. The smartphone comes with 64GB of internal storage and 3GB of ram. At the back, there is a triple camera setup. The primary camera is a 13MP shooter. The secondary camera is a 5MP ultrawide lens sensor. The third is a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is an 8MP shooter. There is a headphone jack. For connectivity, the smartphone has dual band wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and 4G. There is a 5000mAh battery with support for reverse charging. There is no Type-C USB port for charging. The fingerprint sensor is at the back of the smartphone. Huawei claims that the Honor 9A speakers can deliver up to 88dB of sound output. The Honor 9A will come in three colors when it launches. The Honor 9A will be running on Android 10 out of the box with Huawei’s own UI on top.  

Price of Huawei Honor 9A in India:

The Huawei Honor 9A will be sold via Amazon when it launches. The price of the device is unknown but it sells for RM 549 in Malasia. That means the Honor 9A will sell for around Rs. 10,000 when it launches in India.
