Just a couple of weeks before the theatrical release of Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Endgame’ movie on April 26, Google Pixel has added Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Nebula and Okoye characters in Playground.
The Playground is a creative mode in the Pixel camera that gives you the power to create and play with the world around you using augmented reality.
‘Google has added Playmojis from the Marvel Cinematic Universe bringing five new characters including War Machine, Thor, Black Widow, Rocket and Captain Marvel,’ said Elisabeth Morant, Product Manager, Playground, Google, in a blog post.
With these interactive characters, users can make epic scenes come to life in their photos and videos. The ARCore’s motion tracking’s light estimation and its capability to understand the real world, the Playmoji look and feel lifelike, and react to your facial expressions in real time.
Google has also shared a one minute video wherein the company has reimagined the Marvel Cinematic Universe by exploring what would happen if Pixel 3 was present into a world in need of a little assistance, alongside the Avengers.
The video shows a cab driver coming to a stop when Google Assistant on his phone indicates a ’23-hour shutdown’ on his route. Another user in the ad uses Assistant to click a selfie via voice command while another user captures a short video of Iron Man.
Recently, Google Pixel 4 Mini smartphone was spotted online. The Pixel 4 Mini will be the smallest variant of the flagship Pixel series that will be launched this year in October.
