It may take Google some time to refine and alter the design.

The former, however, is anticipated to have a novel sensor. According to a leak, the Pixel 7a will have an upgraded 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 camera. The rear could also have a 12-megapixel ultra wide lens. Google may extol the virtues of computational imaging to distinguish itself from rivals like OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Samsung.
