Google pixel 6a has been introduced in India, today and will be live on sale at the launching price of Rs 39,999. Although it is starting at a price of Rs 43,999 as a part of the launch offer customers will get an extra discount.

It's been 3 years since Google hasn't launched its smartphone in India. Pixel 6a which was launched a couple of months ago has been released in India, today for sale, it is available for pre-orders in India.

Highlights of Pixel 6a smartphone

The Pixel 6a comes with Google's in-house Tensor SoC with the Titan M2 Security chip. The phone comes with Android 12 out of the box with Google promising five years of security updates, announced earlier at the Google I/O event.

Google Pixel 6a is powered with Google’s in-house Tensor chipset and supports 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, which is not expandable. You get 100 GB of cloud storage from Google One. For security, the Pixel 6a gets the Titan M2 Security chip.

The Google Pixel 6a comes with a 6.1-inch Full-HD+ OLED panel that supports a 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR, and 429 PPI. Google Pixel 6a features an OLED panel and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection layer.

It has an 8MP punch hole camera to take care of selfies and video calling.  The dual-camera setup is there at the back that includes a 12.2MP wide camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. It is packed with a 4,306mAh battery with 18W fast charging supports to run the show.

Further, Google offers a free three-month YouTube Premium subscription and 100 GB of cloud storage from Google One on the Google Pixel 6a.
