After months of rumours and leaks, Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be officially launched on May 7 at the Google I/O Conference. Flipkart, has also teased upcoming Pixel devices on its platform that reads ‘Something Big.’
Recently, a purple colour variant of the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL was leaked that according to the media shares connection with the purple skin of Thanos’ (fictional character in Avenger), which means Google is planning to launch a purple colour variant.
Earlier, Google revealed details of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones on Google Play Developer Console. The smartphones were previously named Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite. But, after Google released the Android Q beta, it used Sargo and Bonito, respectively, as the new codenames, now referred to as Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL
Both the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be priced in the range similar to the OnePlus 7. While the Pixel 3a will come with a 5.6-inch display, 440 ppi and a resolution of 1080 x 2220, the Pixel 3a XL is expected to sport a large 6-inch display with 1080 x 2160 resolution and a 400 ppi pixel density.
The smartphones will be powered by 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 9 OS. The Pixel 3a could have a Snapdragon 675 processor and the Pixel 3a XL will have Snapdragon 710 SoC. For photography, the smartphones will have the same 12.2MP single rear camera as seen in Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL along with Night Sight. At the front, there will be 8MP camera.
The Pixel 3a will have a 2,915 mAh battery as compared to the 3,430 mAh battery in Pixel 3a XL.
Recently, Google Pixel 4 Mini was spotted online. The Pixel 4 Mini will be a smaller version of the flagship Pixel series. Currently, Google Pixel smartphones comes in two sizes, but the company is now also working on a third size that will be easily managed by one hand.
