Garena Free Fire purgatory map is a fan favorite. Players can play on this map in the game as soon as they get to level 5. Purgatory is a big map that is slow. For new players of the game Purgatory map is one of the best maps to learn about the Garena Free Fire mechanics. It is a vast map with plenty of vehicles and loot areas. One thing to note is that Purgatory map is very different from Bermuda map. So don’t think that your game in Bermuda can be applied here as well. 1. The hot drop locations on the Purgatory map are Quarry, Ski Lodge, Moathouse, Central and Brasilia. All of these areas have good loot and a lot of players drop in these areas. If you are a new player in Free Fire then it would be better if you avoid these high interest areas and go for more low profile locations. 
2. Use the Golf Course location on the map as your holding point. In the purgatory map the golf course is in between the Central and Brasilia which are both hot drop locations. Golf course is in between those two locations so you will be better off hiding there and sniping opponents that are going between these two hot drop locations. 
3. Gloo walls are your best defense against opponents in the game and especially in the purgatory map. Using Gloo walls provides you with good cover and a few seconds to organise yourself before you fight the opponents. So make sure you have enough gloo walls. 
4. Use sniper rifles and assault rifles on this map. Purgatory is a big map so using SMG might not be a good idea since most of the fights are not going to be close range. Using a rifle and a sniper will be better for this particular map. 
5. One of the best ways to win is to practice to win. So try using a guest account to log in the game and play in Purgatory map to get an idea of the terrain and how to use the map to your advantage. 
6. Movement is of prime importance in Garena Free Fire. Doing drag headshots, Jump shots are very common for players. Learn how to do a drag headshot to give yourself an advantage in the game. 
7. Watch the gameplay of youtubers who play garena Free Fire to get a better idea of how to plan your game. Youtubers and streamers are always playing the game and using them as a reference point will give a huge advantage in the game.
