Akshay Kumar tweeted yesterday the FAU-G teaser for everyone to see what the game is going to be about and it was rather disappointing. For those who are out of the loop around Fau-G, it is a game being developed by n-core games which is an Indian game development studio. Fau-G started gaining traction on the internet and among the Indian gaming scene after the Indian Government banned PUBG Mobile along with 118 apps that have any level of Chinese influence in them. It was Akshay Kumar who revealed to the world about Fau-G and that too on the same day PUBGM was banned in India.
Today we celebrate the victory of good over evil, and what better day to celebrate our Fearless and United Guards, our FAU-G!

FAU-G Teaser Trailer Reveals What Is Wrong with Indian Game Studios
If you haven't seen the footage of Fau-G then you should. Nothing is interesting about the footage itself except that it looks like someone just animated some scenes of Bollywood movies that show Indian soldiers engaging in action. This is exactly where the problem lies. See, n-core studios have tweeted that Fau-G is coming out in November 2020 but you know what they still haven't revealed. Anything of substance about the game itself.

the light will always conquer the darkness.
May victory bless Fearless And United Guards, our FAU-G.
Launching in November 2020!

Even if you combine all Akshay Kumar and n-core studios have revealed about the game it basically comes down to Fau-G being a game that is made in India and will show the Indian army in a good light. Also, some percentage of the profits made with Fau-G will be donated to the Indian Army. All of those are good things but for a game that is surrounded by so much hype, it is amazing how little we know about the game itself.
Here Is All That We Don't Know About Fau-G
There are major questions that are supposed to be asked here from n-core games that no one is even considering. For example, is Fau-G an Andriod only game? What is Fau-G? Is it a MOBA game or a BR game or a casual game? The problem is that even n-core games have no track record of making mobile games till now. Not only that but the game has become part of such a hype machine everywhere in India that even major news outlets are covering it and no one has even asked what the game is about even.
nCore is actively hiring and looking for experienced game developers and other roles.

The fact is we don't know anything about Fau-G and this is even more damming when you take into account what n-core games tweeted on September 7th. They are looking for experienced game developers? The game is coming out in November and they were looking for an experienced game developer in September. This is something that is slowly becoming the norm in the Indian tech world. Everything is about Make in India but no one is asking what actually is being made.
It's not just n-core games that are doing this. Even the Indian Tech giants are not far behind. Just a few days ago Reliance Jio launched or rather relaunched Jio Browser as a mobile internet browser that was made in India and supports multiple Indian languages. It was not made in India at all. Instead, even from the screenshots, one was able to tell that Jio Browser was running on Chromium.
