Everything we know about Apple iPhone 11

The Apple iPhone 11 is expected to release in September of this year. While the launch is still a few months away, the rumour mill is already started giving us an insider look as to what the new iPhones will look like.

iPhone 11 Release Date

Apple will launch the iPhone 11 along-side the Apple Watch Series 5 later this year. And going with the previous trends, the sale will start approx. two weeks after they are introduced.

iPhone 11 Price

While there is no official detail, but we expect iPhone 11 to be priced similar to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. The price will likely start at $999 and will go higher depending on the additional storage and the screen size you opt for. Apple is also expected to bring a 1TB storage option this year along with 64GB, 256GB and 512GB variant.

iPhone 11 Features

The Apple iPhone 11 will run on iOS 13, which the company will announce at WWDC 2019. Apart from this, the Apple iPhone 11 will sport a triple camera system at the rear consisting of consisting of a standard wide-angle unit, an ultra-wide angle unit and a telephoto unit. According to a new leak, the camera system is seen in a square layout located at the top left corner at the back. All three sensors will be developed by Sony.

Popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has further claimed that the 2019 iPhone models will come in the same screen size as the last year models. Expect a 6.4-inch iPhone 11, a 5.8-inch iPhone 11 which will be iPhone XS successor and a 6.1-inch XR (2019). Apple has also filed a patent in the USPTO for underwater photography utilising software enhancements. According to the patent, the camera software will automatically adjust the camera settings when the iPhone is underwater to allow for better pictures.

The triple camera system will be seen on the larger model. The 5.8-inch Apple iPhone 11 will stick to the dual-camera system. The Apple iPhone 11 is also expected to come with wireless charging technology to wirelessly charge Apple Watch or AirPods.

There will be a 12MP front camera instead of a 7MP sensor and it will sport a new 5P lens rather than a 4P lens. The new 12MP front camera will be included on all three new 2019 iPhones.

iPhone 11 Performance

Apple iPhone 11 will be powered by A13 chip. The company is sticking with a 7nm process, as 5nm won’t be ready in time, but EUV should allow about 20 per cent more circuitry in the same area. Few other notable features coming to the iPhone 11 include increased band connectivity, frosted glass finish, reverse charging, improved Face ID, and a big battery.
