The post-nuclear role-playing game Fallout 3 will be free on the Epic Games Store next week and is also the Game of the Year edition.
Every week, the Epic Games Store rotates a new collection of free PC games, previewing what will be available next week. You may note that starting on 20 October, you might be able to obtain a free copy of Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition. It one of the greatest RPG games ever created, in addition to the horror game Darkwood and the colourful roguelike adventure ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove.
Fallout 3: The turning Point
Fallout 3 was a significant turning point for the series since it was Bethesda Game Studios' first attempt to take over a property that had previously been created by Interplay and Black Isle. The previous Fallout games employed a top-down, isometric view a la Diablo, but Fallout 3 drastically changed the perspective to first-person. It also marked the series' first step into 3D.
As a result, the Fallout series gave us a brand-new perspective on the Capital Wasteland, or what was left of Washington, DC. The changeover proved to be a revelation. The initial version of the first-person VATS turn-queuing system, which has been a staple of the franchise ever since, was included, albeit it maintained marvellously loyal to its turn-based beginnings.
What does Fallout 3 Game include?
Fallout 3's Game of the Year version includes the basic Game and all five add-on packs. These include Mothership Zeta, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, The Pitt (now accessible in Fallout 76), Operation: Anchorage, and The Pitt (which features an invasion by space aliens).
When is the Fallout 3 game accessible on the Epic Games Store?
Fallout 3 will be accessible on the Epic Games Store from 20 October to 27. It will be joined by Shiro Games' morphing RPG Evoland.
