In an interaction with PC Quest, Subash Nambiar, VP-- Database, Oracle India talks about Oracle Management Cloud and Security model
Tell us how expectations of enterprise customers have evolved over the past few years. How can companies such as Oracle ensure that they meet these expectations?
Enterprises need to contend with numerous challenges, such as increased pressure to reduce time-to-market for new applications and services. Further, the distributed nature and volume of operational data can be overwhelming. Companies such as Oracle are helping enterprises understand the need to plan and implement customer service strategies that cut across business processes and workflow, people, and technologies. Oracle’s data-driven, customer-centric approach focuses on defining and executing very specific, proactive customer service strategies. We’re closely collaborating with enterprises to help them improve overall quality, utilize employee resources more effectively, and automate processes.
What are some of the best practices CIOs and IT managers can follow to ensure that their IT systems meet and exceed customer expectations?
New age CIOs understand the value of getting closer to customers and offering them a great experience in the digital era. The need to drive an integrated approach across the entire organization also calls for an outside-in view when designing customer experience strategies. Reducing system complexities and making the engagement contextual is the key.
