To say that Cyberpunk 2077 is the most anticipated game of this year will be an understatement. The developers of the game, CD Projekt RED gave us Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, considered to be one of the best RPGs of all time. Couple that with the popularity of The Witcher on Netflix and the fact that Keanu Reeves will be playing a prominent role in the game as Johnny Silverhand and the hype as broken through the roof. And Nvidia is looking to get in on it by possibly making a limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 Nvidia GPU.
The announcement hasn’t been officially made, but the Cyberpunk 2077 and Nvidia Twitter handles exchanged quite some friendly Tweets. In the end. Nvidia tweeted a blurred out photograph of a GPU, which insinuates that a collaboration is in the works.

Talking about Nvidia’s GPUs, there have been some purported leaks regarding the upcoming generation of their GPUs. It is expected that they will be announced at Computex in June this year. It isn’t clear which cards will get the Cyberpunk treatment, but some commenters under the tweets think that it may be called Nvidia 2077.
If that is true, I believe the RTX 2070 might be the card to get the Cyberpunk treatment. It also puts a question as to when the new generation of Nvidia cards will be released. Cyberpunk 2077 releases in September and I doubt Nvidia will give the limited edition treatment to the 2000 series cards if the 3000 series will be released. We will know by Computex for sure.
