Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad today unveiled Coolpad Note 3 Lite, the next edition of their widely popular fingerprint smartphone the Coolpad Note 3 which was launched last October. After the launch Coolpad sold 100k units of Note 3.
In 2016, Coolpad is set to launch slew of products ranging from low to mid-range to high end users and is also aiming to capture five percent market share.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite features a fingerprint sensor with a Golden finish, located at the back of the phone and supports 360 degrees finger rotation capability, fast response time and has 165 degree curved form factor for easy single hand usage. The back of the device has Anti-slip texture finish to avoid accidental slips from the hand.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite is equipped with 5.0 inch HD screen, 3GB of RAM along with 16GB of in built storage(expandable upto 64GB) and supports 4G LTE, 3G and GSM network frequencies along with a dual-SIM slot and SD Card support upto 64 GB. It features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash with 6P lens for a more stable image capturing and auto focus alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the front and rear-facing cameras feature CMOS image sensor for better image quality.
The CoolPad Note 3 Lite runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Coolpad UI 6.0 as of now but will be updated to Android Marshmallow in the near future.
At the first hands on with the device at the launch we tried the fingerprint sensor and it was pretty quick to unlock. Coolpad claims the unlock time of 0.5 seconds and the device meets the expectation. You can also customize the camera for fast capture by using the Fingerprint sensor. The device also has the capability to open different apps with different fingerprint stored, Coolpad calls it Apps on Fingerprint.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite is first Make In India smartphone from Coolpad and will be manufactured in association with Videocon at Auragabad facility.
The Coolpad is also strengthening it's after sales services and already has 240+ service centers and aims to open even more in near future.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite will be available exclusively on Amazon.in in champagne white and black variants and at a price of Rs 6,999. The smartphone will be available as a flash sale on January 20, 2016 at 2 PM Indian Standard Time. Registration starts today 5PM onwards.
