If you are among the first players who got their hands on the CoD Black Ops Cold War then you might have to wait for Season one to drop. In a blogpost on the Call of Duty website, the devs have updated when Season 1 will drop. The CoD Black Ops Cold War Season 1 was initially supposed to come on December 10th but that has been delayed to December 16th now.
The devs have not given a reason for the delay but we think it has been delayed to fix bugs before the launch. Once the CoD Black Ops Cold War Season 1 drops, it will bring with it a massive amount of playable content for players. You can expect a comprehensive integration of Operators, weapons, player progression, and Battle Pass rewards across Black Ops Cold War and CoD Warzone.
New CoD Warzone Map Coming Soon:
Big news for fans of CoD Warzone. The game is finally getting a new battle royale map. Till now players have only played on the Verdansk map of CoD Warzone. However, on December 16th when the CoD Black Ops Cold War Season 1 drops so will the new map for CoD Warzone. Players can expect to see new game modes as well in Warzone. Even the weapon catalog of the game will expand as guns from CoD Black Ops Cold War make their way to CoD Warzone. Also, make sure you’re ready to face down fellow prisoners of Warzone in a new Gulag experience.
CoD Black Ops Cold War Season 1 Content:
The devs at CoD have spoken and the Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War will get the biggest content drop in the history of CoD Black Ops games. The best part is that all of the new maps and game modes will be completely free and not a DLC purchase. Players can expect to see new Multiplayer maps, new and fan-favorite 6v6 modes and playlists, the return of 2v2 Gunfight with four new maps, and a massive new Fireteam map.
That's not all. Even the Raid map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II is coming back. Players will also get free-to-acquire weapons, new Zombies modes, Season Challenges, and the full cross-title launch of the Seasonal Prestige system, with up to 1,000 Season Levels to progress through.
