CODM or Call of Duty Mobile is on its way to becoming one of the greatest mobile battle royal game just like the other giant PUBG mobile. As of now, Call of Duty Mobile has over 100,000,000+ installs on Google Playstore. Of course, it doesn’t reflect how many players are playing it right now but the number is still a significant one. One of the biggest reasons why Call of Duty Mobile or CODM is getting these heavyweight numbers is due to their multiplayer maps. Unlike PUBG Mobile or the clones of it like Garena Free fire who have focused heavily on the battle royal maps while Call of Duty Mobile has focused completely on the multiplayer maps.
For the new players of Call of Duty Mobile here are some tips for the multiplayer map for CrossFire map and how to set up their squads and what guns each player should have and their roles. There are 4 players in each team in most multiplayer modes like team deathmatch or Frontline so here is how you should set-up your squad.
-
Locations
Knowing where to set up your squad and how to approach the other team is very important in each map and the same goes for crossfire map as well. In the crossfire map, both teams are in a war-torn area surrounded by buildings and cars with a road in between. The important locations in the map are buildings that are around that small stretch of road and the cars in between. Remember each building and how to access them to win the match each time.
-
Squad Roles
Each squad has players that need to understand what their role is in the game. Not all players are going to be snipers. Someone has to be the player that goes ahead and dies most of the time. One player needs to provide backup to the player at the front lines. One player needs to give information to the sniper and one player needs to take enemies out before they reach the spawn location of your team. Each role has to be defined and laid out perfectly.
-
Guns/Weapons
Choosing weapons is essential for winning any match. So each player needs a gun/weapon that works to their advantage. The player on the front lines needs a gun that has a higher fire rate and very less reloads time while the player providing backup will need a gun that has an above-average rate of fire and takes lesser time to reload like an M4 or AK-47. The player providing back-up to the sniper will need an LMG or Light Machine gun like the RPD and the sniper will need a sniper gun like DL Q33.
-
Operator Skille/Perks
Operator skills and perks are essential in the call of duty mobile. Ignore them and that will be the biggest mistake your squad can make in the game. Each perk has it’s own advantages and limitations so what works for a player on the frontline won’t work for a player who’s sniping. So choose one that works for you.
Now that we have discussed all the important bits lets get to the meat and potatoes of the game. The guns and the squad distribution.
-
The Gunner
The gunner is the player that goes in the enemy spawn location and keeps the pressure on the enemy team constantly. This player has an essential duty in the game and is the one player that is going to have the highest kill count and the highest number of spawns in the game. The gunner will need good SMG as his primary weapon.
Some good choices would be:
- PDW-57
- RUS-79U
- MSMC
Use the following attachments on these guns:
- FMJ
- Fast reload mag
- Laser
- Red-dot sight
-
The Mid guard
This player is going to provide support to the gunner by running with him from the time the gunner spawns by running with the gunner to the enemy spawn location. Once the gunner reaches the spawn location the mid guard will take a back seat and provide support to the gunner from enemies that are attacking from the gunner’s blindspot. Most of the time the mid-guard player will die too with the gunner but they have to make sure that the enemy team is constantly under pressure. If the enemy team is able to cross the midpoint of the crossfire map then the game is over. The mid guard player will need an AR or assault rifle as their primary weapon.
Some good choices would be:
- M16
- AK-47
Use the following attachments:
- Holographic Sight
- FMJ
- Fast-reload mag
- stock
-
The Wall
This player probably has the most boring role in the squad but can make or break the win if the enemy team is good. The wall player will have to the one the provides back-up in the spawn location of the team and give essential support to the sniper who is hiding by telling the sniper if an enemy player has entered the critical zone where the sniper cannot see. The wall player has a duty that is the most underrated in the game. Providing support to the entire team. While the gunner is running around and killing enemies with the Mid guard player providing him support the wall is looking at the locations of the enemies crossing the midpoint of the map and saving the sniper from dying. The wall player will use LMG or light machine guns since they have a bigger capacity and have a good rate of fire.
The following guns:
- RPD
- UL736
- S36
Use any of these guns with the following attachments:
- Tactical Scope
- Extended mag
- FMJ
- Stock
-
The Sniper
The sniper’s duty is known by everyone and is very important in the game. The sniper is supposed to shoot enemies down before they cross the mid-point of the map and enter the spawn location of the team. The sniper is dependent on all of the team to know where the enemies are coming from. Where the enemy sniper is and where should the gunner and the mid-guard enter from. The sniper needs to hide and stay moving to mask his location.
In Call of duty mobile, there is only one gun that is a great sniper rifle. The famed DL Q33.
Use the following attachment:
- Extended mag
- FMJ
- Stock
- No scope. Use the default scope.
Now you can win in any map in call of duty mobile especially the crossfire map. There will guides on other Call of duty maps as well so stay tuned for that.
