BSNL Raises Data Offers Competition by Announcing 1GB Data @Rs 36

Giving 4G Data and free calling, the Reliance JIo has compelled other telecom providers to slash their data pack rates. To become a part of race, the BSNL also has slashed its 3G mobile data rates and bring it as low as it can i.e Rs36 for per 1GB under a special pack.

"Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL)  has decided to offer up to four times extra data on existing data STVs (special tariff vouchers) available in the market. Under Rs 291 plan, a customer will get four times more data at 8GB with a validity of 28 days against 2 GB earlier. The Rs 78 plan will offer double data at 2 GB. “With these offers, BSNL is now offering data at the rate of Rs 36 per GB which is one of the lowest in the Industry,” BSNL said.

The Reliance Jio has extended its free service up to March 31st, 2017. But also Jio has reduced the free data consumption amount, previously it was 4GB per day and now it is 1Gb.
