● Tasks

Crewmates in Among Us are given tasks around the map which they have to complete in order to win the game. On the other hand, imposters are not given tasks and even if an imposter tries doing tasks it or fake tasks you as a crew member can easily spot them by using the green taskbar on the top left of the screen. The green taskbar in among us is a great way of not only finding the imposters but also players who are crewmates like you. Simply put, when a crewmate does a task in Among Us the green bar fills up, and when an imposter fakes a task you can see the same green bar stay just the same.

● Security and Cameras

This is an easy one and the one you should definitely use when the imposter has already killed 3 or more crewmates. When the body is reported or someone calls for an emergency meeting and no one is under suspicion then tell a crewmate you trust to follow you to security to look at cameras. Going with a crewmate in Security gives you two clear advantages. So incase the imposter does vent to security to kill you then the other crewmate will be able to report the body and you can always find an imposter doing a sloppy mistake on camera and report them immediately.

● Staying in the Game

This is something that is quite underrated but staying in the game even when you are killed as a crewmate is important. Yes, ghost chat is fun but completing tasks is one of the most important jobs a crewmate has in Among Us. Completing the tasks and staying until the end may not be the most exciting thing as a player but it does win you a ton of brownie or trust points when the match is over and the new one begins. Jumping from lobby to lobby ruins the game for everyone.

●  Memorize Venting

This may sound difficult to do but since the game has become so popular that there are entire videos on Youtube that will explain the venting pattern in each map. This gives a huge advantage to crewmates when they are in admin and looking at just the location of players. Here is another great tip, not all vents connect to each other. Only a few do and even then it is way too easy to memorize the different connections of each map with just a few videos on Youtube.
