BlackBerry is assisting Government of Canada to modernize their operations centers during G7 ministerial meetings and the G7 Summit 2018.
With the usage of BlackBerry AtHoc the operations centers are able to effectively mobilize and safeguard the flow of critical information by giving updates to targeted lists of recipients in real-time. AtHoc is a crisis communication platform, which comprises of AtHoc Alert for mass notification and AtHoc Collect for field reports.
Sanjay Saini, SVP and GM, BlackBerry AtHoc said that they are honored that the Government of Canada has chosen BlackBerry to support their operations. He further added that whether in times of crisis or during a high-profile event like the G7 Summit, dependable and secure communications are vital. The AtHoc technology allows real-time information exchange across organizations, their people and devices, offering them with the requisite information to take informed and safety-critical decisions.
Furthermore, it is one of the companies that has been selected to display its innovative solutions at the 2018 G7 Innovation Showcase.
