When Innersloth devs were working on Among Us they would have never imagined in their wildest dreams that one day politicians will be playing the game. But that is exactly what has happened. In a bizarre yet bold move, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has decided to not only play but also stream Among Us on twitch to get the voters out. For those who might not know Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, she is an American politician and from the replies to her tweet, it seems that she's extremely popular as well.
Anyone want to play Among Us with me on Twitch to get out the vote? (Iβve never played but it looks like a lot of fun)

Ilhan Omar also tweeted at AOC to play Among Us with her on twitch. For those who might not know Ilhan Omar, she is also a US politician and AOC tweeted back at her saying "Its On Sis". Needless to say, politics just got a lot more interesting. We still don't know when the twitch stream will happen but what we do know is that Pokimane and Ilhan Omar are going to play Among Us with AOC.

It has been a long road for the gaming community to get recognized for what it actually stands for. Over the years many politicians across the party lines and borders have held gaming and gamers in contempt. Statements like video games inciting violence were something that we all have heard and seen but it looks like Among Us is finally changing that.
Also, some nice memes came out as well. As anyone can guess, Orange is kinda SuS.
