Age of Empires to be Available for Android and iPhones

World’s Edge and Xbox Game Studios have announced the Age of empires game for Android and iPhones. On the 25th anniversary of the Age of empires, this PC-based strategy game maker reveals its version for Android and iPhones.

There is a sneak peek into the upcoming mobile version of the game on YouTube but there hasn't been any revelation of the gameplay on the Platform. It would be exciting to see how Microsoft reworks this complex PC strategy title into a mobile game.

Age of Empire: Mobile versions

Earlier also real-time strategy game called Age of Empires: World Domination and a tower defense game named Age of Empires: Castle Siege arrived for mobile devices in 2015. However, the mobile version didn't go well and was finally shut down.

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced its plans to acquire Activision Blizzard King in a $68.7 billion deal which is expected to complete in 2023. This deal will help the tech giant to foray into the mobile gaming market. Apart from this, the company is also trying to penetrate the mobile gaming market by releasing the mobile version of other franchises like the Age of Empire.

As per reports, Microsoft also shared its plans to launch a mobile platform for the Xbox store that will compete with Apple’s App Store and the Google Play Store. To get it approved, the company explained how this deal will help it to enter the mobile gaming market.
