At next@acer, the new lineup includes two 2-in-1s – Aspire Switch 10 E and Aspire Switch 10; an 11-inch convertible - Aspire R 11; three new notebooks – Aspire V 15, Aspire E and ES Series - offering strong performance and stylish design for work and play; the new Chromebook 1 5 wi th 11.5 hours of battery life, currently the longest in the 15-inch Chromebook segment; and the Iconia Tab 10 tablet for education and Iconia One 8 with advanced touch capability.

11-inch Convertible Notebook, the Aspire R 11

Acer announced the smallest addition to its convertible notebook lineup – the Aspire R 11 with 11.6-inch display. This compact notebook makes the most of small spaces with a uniquely-designed 360-degree hinge that allows it to convert fluidly between four modes for creating and sharing. Up to 8 hours of battery life provides customers with a full-day’s usage on the go. The Aspire R 11 features a fabric-textured cover and underside created with a laser etching process for a visually appealing and functional exterior that’s scratch resistant and provides a firm grip. It is available in sky blue or cloud white, with a crisp and clear 11.6-inch HD touch screen featuring Zero Air Gap technology and durable Corning Gorilla Glass.

New Iconia One 8 Tablet with Advanced Touch Capabilities

Featuring Acer Precision Plus technology, it offers a highly accurate touch and writing experience. The screen’s enhanced accuracy makes it ideal for writing and sketching with the optional Acer Accurate Stylus, while the Acer Iconia Suite of touch tools simplifies tasks with touch gestures and quick access icons. In addition to its bright, crystal-clear 8-inch HD display (1280 x 800) with Zero Air Gap and IPS technology, it includes a powerful Intel Atom quad core processor, 16GB or 32GB of storage and the latest version of Android 5.0 (Lollipop), making it powerful enough for productivity tasks, watching videos and gaming. Weighing just 355 grams (12.5 ounces) and 9.5 mm thin, the Iconia One 8 is available in ten eye- catching colors.
