E3 is one of the largest gaming events in the world and in the latest 2021 edition, multiple games were announced. Among the multiple games announced, there were some games that stood out. These games have a strong sense of nostalgia for a lot of players, and these franchises have been very around for a very long time. The announcement of these 5 games gives us a reason to look forward to something in times of a global pandemic.
Halo Infinite
Halo has been around for a very long time. The game has multiple editions and version and users have always enjoyed being a part of this game. At E3 2021, after 3 years, Halo announced their latest title, Halo Infinity. The last game from the franchise came out in 2018. Set in the Halo universe’s biggest open world yet, Halo Infinite will follow Master Chief as he teams up with a new AI and goes on a quest to find out what went wrong. The trailer did not reveal a lot of details of the upcoming game, but it sure looks promising. The game will be available on the Xbox Series X/S/ One and PC. It is set to launch during the holiday season of 2021.
Forza Horizon 5
Forza Horizon has made sure that users have a good experience while indulging in open-world racing. Thrilling missions and life-like graphics have been the forte of the game. This stays constant with the newly announced Forza Horizon 5. The game is set in Mexico and players can go around its beautiful landscapes. It is one of the most famous franchises of open-world games, and this is probable to continue with the newly coming game. The upcoming game will be available on Xbox Series X/S/ One and PC. The game will come out on November 9, 2021.
Battlefield 2042
The new and upcoming Battlefield game will not have a single-player or campaign mode. However, that does not stop us from being excited about the fps game. The trailer launch at E3 2021 gives players a hint of the intense combat that the game will bring. The game takes place in a world where an immense shortage of resources has caused a war between the U.S. and Russia. The multiplayer experience will have many modes, two of which veterans will recognize. The “Conquest” mode will have two teams capture key points on the map, while the “Breakthrough” mode will have the teams attack and defend a particular site. It is important to note that the game will not be a battle royale game. The game will come out on Xbox Series X/S/ One, PlayStation 5 and 4 along with PC on October 22, 2021.
Far Cry 6
Whenever the mention of first-person open-world games come up, the Far Cry franchise is always there. The adventure first-person game is coming out with the latest offering, Far Cry 6. Far Cry 6 will be set in the tropical nation of Yara, inspired by the aesthetic of Cuba. Players will be controlling Dani Rojas, a revolutionary who wants freedom from the antagonist. Going by trailer at E3 2021, the game will bring in multiple new weapons like backpack jetpacks, rocket launchers, and a gun that fires CDs at enemies. You can play the game on Xbox Series X, S, One, PS5, PS4, Windows PC, and Google Stadia on October 7, 2021.
Rainbow Six Extraction
Rainbow Six Siege is a very popular game and an eSports title. Rainbow Six Extraction was previously known as Quarantine but the developers have changed the name. Extraction is familiar to Rainbow Siege veterans, with a slightly different style. Extraction will allow players to choose from 18 different operators, each with their own weapons and abilities. For co-op players looking for a serious mission, Rainbow Six Extraction is one of the biggest announcements in E3 2021. The game will be launched on September 16, 2021. It will be available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
