35 Years of RAM: Evolution of Memory

RAM is often an area that offers significant performance improvements and provides the working memory of your system. The more RAM you have, the more data that can be stored in the data cache and the more procedures that can be stored in the procedure cache.

Robert Dennard was the inventor of RAM, the device was patented in 1968 by Dennard. While Intel's 1103 was the world's first available dynamic RAM chip. Since then, till now, RAM has seen various architecture changes, we have listed some major milestones/events in the history of RAM, including release dates for many of the popular and widely-used memory in the past 35 years.
